The snow has now melted away and this past beautiful sunny Saturday I went out in the yard to scout out the perfect spot to plant a giant flower garden for the girls. As I hiked around the yard I discovered something protruding from the ground which at first I didn't recognize then as I approached my mind suddenly understood what my eyes were seeing- a rib cage! and the rest of the remains of a large animal. I use the word "remains" loosely for all that remains is bones and a pile of fur. And no this isn't the same deer from before. Of course Chris thought it would be fascinating to see and took the girls out to investigate, me and my squeamish stomach didn't want to see it again. I asked him to bury it or move it to the far edge of the property but he doesn't seem to think it is a big deal to have an animal carcass in the middle of my would-be flower garden area. We'll see about that.....
UPDATE: Last night I read this post to Chris and he suggested that we add pictures. I said no he asked why not? How do you feel about it?
